Overview
Gilla Band, the Irish post-punk outfit from Dublin, takes the stage at the Trabendo for an intense date.
Gilla Band formed in Dublin in 2011 and established itself on the alternative scene with a radical approach to post-punk rock and noise pop. The group released its first album, Holding Hands with Jamie, in 2015, making a mark with angular compositions, abrasive sound textures and dense studio performances. Their musical style breaks away from traditional structures, blending distorted guitars, relentless rhythms and spoken word.
On stage, Gilla Band unleashes raw energy, driven by tracks with often urgent tempos and a constant physical intensity. The set is aimed particularly at fans of gritty independent music and experimental rock. This date at the Trabendo offers the chance to experience the group's punch in the configuration of this venue in the Parc de la Villette.
