Hayden Thorpe

Presented by Öctöpus. Hayden Thorpe performs the Wild Beasts repertoire for the first time in nearly nine years.

These concerts, given entirely solo, will offer an exploration of this beloved repertoire in its purest form: voice and instrument, just as the pieces were originally composed.

"I'm lucky, in my daily life, to often meet kind souls who tell me how much a certain song, album or Wild Beasts concert has meant to them. I learned that over time, emotional bonds don't fade and the power of music remains intact.

I missed these songs; the timing seemed perfect to go search for the high notes and call upon the musical memory of my hands. ' The choice of venues was also carefully considered.

Each of these places played a key role in the band's history: Brewery Arts was our cultural headquarters as we grew up in Kendal, Hoxton Hall hosted the revealing concert of our second album *Two Dancers*, and Brudenell Social Club will forever remain the place where we grew as musicians.
