About — The venue

La Boule Noire is located at 120, boulevard de Rochechouart, in the 18th arrondissement — the same address as La Cigale, of which it is the little sister. The two venues are distinct, each with its own page and schedule on this site: do not look for concerts from the larger venue here.

Its capacity, indicated at the top of the page, makes it one of the smallest venues in the Parisian catalogue. It's a discovery format, where you can see bands just a few metres away, often before they move on to much larger venues.
