Overview
"Caramba Culture Live presents: HOHNEN FORD
Hohnen Ford stands out as a distinctive voice on the new English folk scene. Born in north London, she grew up steeped in soul, classical music and the harmonies of singing around the campfire. Trained in jazz singing at the Royal Academy, she draws on the great standards of the Great American Songbook for an inspiration and a subtlety of songwriting that have won her the admiration of artists such as John Mayer, Tom Odell, Laufey, Bruno Major and even Marcus Mumford. Following a first EP that drew critical attention, I Wish I Had A God, she has gone on to support prestigious acts alongside FINNEAS, Patrick Watson, Wasia Project and even Orla Gartland, and has just unveiled her new single, No Harm No Foul.
Hohnen Ford will be performing at Le Café de la Danse on 2 December for an intimate, sensitive and enchanting evening not to be missed."
