I Prevail

I Prevail, the American metalcore band, returns to Paris for a unique date at the Zénith, promising an evening rich in energy and emotion.

Formed in Michigan in 2013, I Prevail quickly established themselves on the international scene with a distinctive fusion of metalcore, post-hardcore, and pop-rock elements. The band consists of Brian Burkheiser and Eric Vanlerberghe on vocals, Steve Menoian on lead guitar, Dylan Bowman on rhythm guitar, and Gabe Helguera on drums. Their meteoric rise has been marked by albums such as “Lifelines” (2016) and “Trauma” (2019), the latter having been nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best Rock Album” category. I Prevail has distinguished itself with compositions that combine catchy melodies with powerful breakdowns and introspective lyrics, often addressing themes of resilience and mental health.

Their musical style is characterised by the alternation between Brian Burkheiser's melodic clean vocals and Eric Vanlerberghe's aggressive screams, creating an intense vocal dynamic. This duality, combined with incisive guitar riffs and a solid rhythm section, gives their music a particular depth and energy. Tracks like “Scars,” “Gasoline,” and “Bow Down” have become anthems for their fans, perfectly illustrating their ability to navigate between the aggression of metal and the melody of alternative rock, with a touch of modern production that sometimes brings them closer to more pop-rock sounds.

Renowned for their intense stage performances, I Prevail delivers concerts where the energy is palpable and interaction with the audience is constant. The band is known for its ability to create an immersive atmosphere, transforming every venue into a true collective outlet. Their appearance at the Zénith de Paris, an iconic venue capable of hosting over 6,000 spectators, is an opportunity to discover or rediscover this live power. Fans can expect a balanced setlist, drawing from their entire discography, and a visual and sound production worthy of their reputation.

This concert in Paris represents an important step for I Prevail, solidifying their place on the French rock and metal scene. It is a unique opportunity to experience I Prevail live, a band that continues to evolve while remaining true to its sonic identity.
