IMBERT IMBERT

On stage, Imbert Imbert asserts a unique musical identity. His double bass serves as a glowing anchor point around which the songs catch fire, an accomplice to his escapades between chanson, jazz and rock. Singer-songwriter and performer, he builds a body of work running through fertile tensions: between roughness and poetry, anger and tenderness, lucidity and vital impulses. Never decorative, his lyrics probe human frailties, intimate disorders and the fragile joys that save us, without seeking either to soften or to reassure. His language, incisive and poetic, readily jolts conventional images. Abrasive and biting, it nonetheless remains inhabited by a poetic light, in direct contact with life and its turbulence. For more than twenty years, Imbert Imbert has cultivated this universe of freedom and tension, alternating moments of stripped-back restraint with electric bursts, always in search of the right breath. He returns today with a sixth album, Petit journal du feu, a tribute to his father and to the raw emotion of existence, accompanied on stage by Cédric Pierini on diatonic accordion, where jazz, rock and improvised music meet to bring the flame of creation leaping up.

YANNICK JACQUET

Singer-songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Yannick juggles instruments and emotions to tell stories of encounters: with others, with oneself, with time that crumbles or stands still. Yannick lives a thousand lives in music: classical cellist, film score composer, jazz pianist at sea, clarinettist vibrating to the rhythm of Colombian cumbia or Moroccan chaâbi, a contestant on The Voice 2022... From his music emerges a sense of calm, like a little woollen blanket by the fireside.
