Dark, hallucinatory, brutal, fatal, wild, depressive, sublime, contemplative, sensory, and explosive, Blast deals with the savagery encountered by a man trying to escape modern society. In the spirit of the original work, Improjection turns this piece into a singularly exciting aesthetic challenge, constantly playing with the boundaries between reality and fiction. In this new comic-book concert, Improjection takes us deep into the human being, deep into each of us. With this new creation, the Improjection company asserts its immersion in the world of comic books. On stage, the projection is accompanied live by the ensemble, with strings, woodwinds, spoken word, and rhythms succeeding one another to give body and animate Polza Mancini during this custody. Through this thriller, questions of marginalisation, pauperisation, mental health, and finally the reintegration of these audiences are addressed. This adaptation is inspired by the 4 volumes of Manu Larcenet's work, Blast.
