She swapped briefings for the microphone, open-plan offices for Comedy Clubs. It was at the Gotham Comedy Club, in the heart of Manhattan, that she took her first steps on stage. Nothing less than New York to dare her new beginning. Imen is an explorer of what she calls “contrasted Frenchness”. She is a lover of travel. Every destination is a source of inspiration, every encounter — even the most anodyne — transforms into a funny anecdote. Her humour reflects her: subtle, audacious, and contemporary. Her show, “d'origine (in)controlée”, is a funny, sincere, and unfiltered logbook, chronicling her escapades and her dazzling career change. After a few try-out performances at Le Boui-Boui in Lyon, she sets up shop at Le Point-Virgule in Paris. ».
