For the creation of this reading, Les Murmures de l’Âme, the choices have gravitated towards authors whose texts mainly echo the realities of womanhood – its condition, its exceptional nature – from the very young girl to the woman.

There is also the personal and lifelong love of writing that runs through these choices. Françoise Sagan, Marguerite Duras, Anne Dufourmantelle, Camille Laurens, Patrice Chéreau...

and others join me at each new performance as unfailing companions in life, whom I love infinitely to meet again. They share an intelligence, an exceptional mental acuity and a sensitivity that is certainly over-developed.

I have had the immense good fortune to meet some of them and, for some, even to work with them, and for them. These are artists and exceptional people who have shaped my thinking, my whole being.

An audience that comes to see you is an audience that places its trust in you, so that at least a little of this moment of exchange might make a difference. May it allow us to step into another reality that sets everyday life in parentheses. These are precious moments.
