Overview
Now an unmissable cinematic event, the Nuit de la Japanimation celebrates Japanese animated cinema, which continually surprises with the diversity of its forms, aesthetics, and narratives.
Feature films and short films, cult classics or never-before-seen works, will showcase this richness. New this year: to ensure the atmosphere is as vibrant in the venue as it is on screen, a cosplay competition will be organised. Come dressed as your favourite character!
This Cinema Night is part of the Fête du cinéma d’animation, which commemorates the first public screening of animated strips by pioneer Émile Reynaud at the Musée Grévin on 28 October 1892.
