Overview
Presented by Philippe Maillard production. Jean-Marc Luisada invites us to journey through the worlds of three great masters of the piano repertoire. In Beethoven, the Sonata No. 12 stands out indisputably for the theatricality of the late and audacious Bagatelles Op. 126.
Likewise, what could be more different in Chopin than his Nocturnes Op. 9 and his Scherzos with their almost demonic power? As for Debussy, each of the Images from the First Book paints a microcosm of prodigious richness.
Only a master of Jean-Marc Luisada's stature, with his incomparable art of pianistic bel canto and his legendary poetic sensibility, can unite these worlds while preserving their distinctiveness. Programme Ludwig van Beethoven • Six Bagatelles Op. 126, Piano Sonata No.
