JeanJass

Presented by Nonstop Productions. Born in 1988, Jassim Jean Ramdani discovered rap in the mid-2000s with his childhood friends in Exodarap. " With Goldman (2014), the Brussels native takes a first solo turn. Concert dates follow one another.

His path then crosses that of Caballero. The two set up a studio, "almost by mistake", and lay the groundwork for a lasting collaboration with Double Hélice (2016). "It's the most important encounter of my professional career.

" The duo endures and has gone on to complete more than twenty joint projects. Meanwhile, JeanJass builds a solid solo discography, in which another dimension gradually asserts itself: production. " Sampling and crate-digging gradually shape his universe.

He then puts his skills at the service of other projects: Déjeuner en paix (2023) with Mairo, SCOPE (2024) with Keroué, Cognac & Cigarettes (2024) with Jungle Jack. This freedom also marks his songwriting. With Doudoune en été (2022), JeanJass adopts a more spontaneous approach.

First conceived as an EP, the album takes on a far greater scope. " I'm on the right path, there are signs that prove it / It's not me who looks for it, it's the inspiration that finds me — CRL NDR
