Presented by Nonstop Productions Born in 1988, Jassim Jean Ramdani discovered rap in the mid-2000s with childhood friends within Exodarap. « For me, rap remains a team sport.  » With Goldman (2014), the Brussels native embarks on a first solo venture.

Concert dates follow one another. His trajectory crosses that of Caballero. The two set up a studio, « almost by accident  », and lay the foundations for lasting collaboration with Double Hélice (2016). « It was the most important meeting in my professional journey.

We're like two brothers. » The duo endures and follows up with over twenty joint projects. In parallel, JeanJass builds a solid solo discography where another dimension gradually emerges: production.

« Very early on, I understood that if the beat wasn't good, even with the best rap in the world, it wouldn't work for me.  » Sampling and diggin gradually shape his universe.

He then puts himself at the service of other projects: Déjeuner en paix (2023) with Mairo, SCOPE (2024) with Keroué, Cognac & Cigarettes (2024) with Jungle Jack. This freedom also influences his writing. With Doudoune en été (2022), JeanJass adopts a more spontaneous approach.

Initially conceived as an EP, the album gains broader scope. « It confirmed my conviction to calculate nothing, just finish the tracks and truly listen to myself.
