When the idea for an album dawns, often I don't see it coming. I move forward with two or three ideas in mind, and I'm often surprised by what happens. For "Spirales", things started one June day in 2024 during a walk in my hometown, Provins, in Seine-et-Marne.

I had just crossed a public garden where, as a child, I often went with my mother. A text then appeared, telescoping these childhood walks and the moment I was living.

I had already written songs about childhood, but the way of approaching the subject seemed different to me here, less laden with pathos. The piece that resulted, "La roue du Jardin Garnier", thus set the "tone" of the album.

JeanneTo is a pop punk voice that invites itself into rave chaos, over provocative rhythms that push the wild genres of the 1990s to their extremes: basses that strike, drum blasts, saturated and addictive synths.

Beatmaker and guitarist, Cadillac Prod shapes all productions and accompanies JeanneTo on stage. His productions confront rave energy with new-wave darkness. Together, they mainly seek to create what doesn't yet exist.

When you can't find your place anywhere, you can play anything, anywhere. Between intimate journal and protest slogans, Jeanne doesn't sing alone. There's a crowd around, and you're part of it.

By calling love and despair by their names, she makes song a common space for those who feel lost somewhere, in the middle of everything. Listening to JeanneTo is letting yourself be overwhelmed by toxic and poetic waves until you're completely engulfed.

You don't know how you got there, but it's ok. It's too late to leave, so there's nothing left but to dance.
