The story continues... 23 dates throughout France from November 10, 2027 to March 2028 "The real Johnny Hallyday is on stage. " Yvan Cassar Yvan Cassar acquired this deep conviction over more than 15 years accompanying Johnny as musical director.

It forms the starting point of a unique project entrusted to him: to restore all the force and emotion of Johnny Hallyday's voice as it resonated in concert, while offering it the sonic setting that studio recordings allow.

From this ambition emerge two albums: in 2019, JOHNNY, then in 2021 ACT II. Both rest on an unprecedented principle: preserve Johnny Hallyday's live vocal takes and magnify them with new arrangements, sometimes symphonic, sometimes intentionally stripped down.

A faithful tribute to the artist, with that intensity that only the stage knew how to reveal. The public's reception exceeded all expectations. An idea then imposes itself naturally: return these songs to their place of origin. The stage.

In May 2022, JOHNNY SYMPHONIQUE takes to the road for a first tour of twenty dates. Under the direction of Yvan Cassar, more than one hundred musicians, a choir and spectacular visual creation accompany Johnny's voice, restored on three giant screens.

The greatest classics regain their breath: Diego, libre dans sa tête, L'Envie, Allumer le feu, Que je t'aime, but also Marie, Sang pour sang or Je te promets.

Facing public enthusiasm, a new series of concerts is scheduled for spring 2024, enriched with new titles including Gabrielle, Noir c'est noir and the mythical rhythm and blues medley imagined by Johnny in the sixties. The repertoire expands, emotion remains intact.
