Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks

The first time I heard The Band Geeks, I was completely blown away! They sound exactly like the classic YES of the 1970s, the YES I know and love… AND THAT IS WHAT I WANT TO BRING YOU ON THIS TOUR… THE MUSIC OF YES IS ETERNAL!" – Jon Anderson

Jon Anderson is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable voices in music, as the lead singer and principal creative force of YES. He wrote and was one of the main creative forces behind the groundbreaking album "Fragile", as well as the series of epic, complex pieces such as "Awaken", "Gates of Delirium" and, above all, "Close to the Edge", which played a vital role in the band's success. Anderson also co-wrote the group's biggest hits, including "I've Seen All Good People", "Roundabout" and "Owner of a Lonely Heart". After 50 years of success in the music industry, Jon has worked with many line-ups of YES, as well as with Vangelis, Kitaro, Roine Stolt and Jean-Luc Ponty. He has released several critically acclaimed solo albums, including "Olias of Sunhillow", "Song of Seven", "Animation", "Three Ships", "Toltec", "Survival and Other Stories" and, more recently, "1000 Hands", to name just a few.

The Band Geeks began as the resident band of the Band Geek podcast, an internet show created by Richie Castellano (Blue Öyster Cult). The group gained great popularity on YouTube thanks to their incredibly detailed covers of songs by artists such as Queen, Toto, Black Sabbath and Yes, amassing more than 30 million views.
