Karoline & the Free Folks is a Lyon-based artist who draws inspiration from traditional American music such as country, bluegrass and folk. It is a journey into the heart of America, its wide open spaces and its traditional roots music that she invites us on, with a playful register full of poetry. Between catchy compositions and reworked standards, the Free Folks dynamically celebrate the codes of American music through the spotlight on string instruments (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and double bass) and the presence of vocal harmonies. After a first country album in 2022, they return in 2026 with a second opus with confidently asserted bluegrass sonorities.

Alex Riey is a bluegrass artist originally from the Paris region, very much inspired by current bluegrass scene artists such as Sierra Hull, Shadowgrass and Billy Strings. His quintet is made up of Merry Prunnelle (banjo), Clara Scellincourt (fiddle), Guillaume Scouarnec (mandolin) and Hugo Cechosz (double bass), bringing together a committed community around his musical world.
