L'Art d'Avoir Toujours Raison

A simple, quick and infallible method for winning an election: that is the promise of the GIRAFE, the (more or less serious) Groupe Interdisciplinaire de Recherches pour l'Accession aux Fonctions Électorales. Two lecturers teach you THE unfailing method for winning any election.

How do you come up with a good programme? How do you make conflict disappear? How do you communicate successfully? How do you speak when you have nothing to say?

And finally, the most important and most difficult question of all: how do you always be right, even when you are wrong?

Backed by very real examples, this mock lecture, truer than life, unpicks the workings of a language skilled at trading argument for techniques of mass manipulation and other doublespeak. A documented comedy with biting, cleansing humour!
