Overview
Presented by Le Théâtre de l'épée de bois"Catherine Artigala is Marguerite Duras. She is writing. She is that life force which overwhelms us with its humour, its nerve, its carelessness at times, its radicalism more often than not. We will blur the lines.
The finely sculpted lighting and the sounds and music will be our allies in invention. Attention to words, unyielding diction, silences like the rustle of intimacy: our project revolves around speaking, the brutality of words which, in Duras's mouth, turns into emotion.
Duras unties the bond she maintains with the world, with relations between men and women, with sexuality, with her childhood. It is a matter of her obsessions, her fears, her convictions.
