Le Comte de Monte-Cristo en Ciné-Concert

The blockbuster film that won over more than 13 million viewers worldwide returns in a brand-new "cine-concert" version with a symphony orchestra, on a tour taking in Paris, Lille and Lyon in April 2027.

For the occasion, the film will be shown in its extended cut, with 10 minutes of exclusive footage. For more than 3 hours, the 80 musicians of the Yellow Socks Orchestra will perform the famous score live, in perfect sync with the film's projection on the big screen.

Conceived like an opera, Jérôme Rebotier's symphonic score, under the artistic direction and executive production of Pierre-Marie Dru (Pigalle Production), accompanies the hero, brilliantly played by Pierre Niney, from start to finish on his quest for revenge.

The turning point of Dantès's fate, the treasure — the fortune that will allow him to become the Count of Monte Cristo and fund his relentless retribution — also becomes the film's main musical theme.

A haunting melodic motif — drawn from the opening notes of the love theme between Edmond and Mercédès — that keeps returning like a memory you can't shake off… The masterful adaptation of Alexandre Dumas's work by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024 and winner of three César Awards, including the Lycéens' Prize, reappears in a new form, elevated by the power and emotion of the symphony orchestra.

Synopsis The victim of a conspiracy, young Edmond Dantès is arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After fourteen years imprisoned in the Château d'If, he manages to escape.

Having become immensely wealthy, he returns under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo to take revenge on the three men who betrayed him.
