You will all know at least one film from Studio Ghibli and from the great master of Japanese animation, Hayao Miyazaki. He left his mark on his era through varied and extraordinary worlds such as Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away and the legendary My Neighbour Totoro, which have fed the imagination and enchanted entire generations. But what would these internationally acclaimed works be without the sound creations of another immense maestro: Joe Hisaishi, Miyazaki's faithful collaborator and the composer of his films? For, just like the image, music occupies an essential and distinctive place in these productions. The Quatuor Debussy, who need no introduction, invites you to a unique sonic experience. At a concert blending arrangements for string quartet, enriched by the voices of the Francheville college choir, let yourself be carried away by these mysterious tales and adventures that are both epic and intimate. Let us step together into the universe of a director whose work fascinates as much as it enchants. And because a good surprise never comes alone, we invite you to extend this immersion with The Fantastic World of Tim Burton, at the EOLE cultural centre in Craponne, on Saturday 30 January at 8.30pm, with a reduced rate on presentation of your ticket.
