Moby Dick, a magnificent masterpiece and adventure novel by Herman Melville, tells the story of an obsession: that of Captain Ahab, who pursues with fury and relentless determination a ferocious sperm whale that took his leg. He draws onto his ship sailors who are gradually caught up in the whirlwind of his hatred and this mad quest for revenge. In this captivating, witty tale filled with a strange wisdom, the writer raises the great questions of human existence and inscribes in the memory of mankind a new myth: that of the white whale. The new creation by the company Les Vagabonds takes you into the heart of the oceans, amid the roar of their storms, into the final confrontation between man and the great white Leviathan. In the depths of the human soul, between nightmare and reality, we touch on its fears, its hatreds, its quests and its hopes.
