Trading on the success of their oratorio Mytho, but not too much, Les Lunaisiens are back for more, revisiting the story of King Midas, whom Apollo saddled with donkey's ears. A petty revenge: Midas judged Pan a better musician than this jealous god…

Pop-up opera for toddlers, oratorios for children's choirs, song-fishing sessions… For more than fifteen years, Arnaud Marzorati and Les Lunaisiens have been touring the roads of France, and above all those of the Hauts-de-France region, offering young and old alike a different way of discovering the repertoire and other stories. Having tackled painting with Les Tubes de Monet, science with Eurêka, and the plant world, they now turn to mythology. King Midas is well known for his power to turn everything he touches into gold, but less is remembered of his misadventures as a music lover, and of the shameful transformation that followed Apollo's anger towards him. Donkey's ears: a rather petty punishment from a god, however offended he may have been!
