Le Spleen de Paris de Charles Baudelaire

An adaptation for young audiences of Charles Baudelaire's collection Le Spleen de Paris, presented at the Theatre du Nord – Ouest in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, with Olivier da Silva.

This children's show draws on Le Spleen de Paris, a collection of short prose poems by Charles Baudelaire, published after the author's death in 1869. The texts, brief and turned towards the city, its streets and its passers-by, make the observation of everyday life a poetic material.

On stage, the production gives body to these short narratives through acting and spoken word. Olivier da Silva is associated with this production, whose tone addresses children while remaining faithful to Baudelaire's writing.

The Theatre du Nord – Ouest, located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, hosts this form aimed at young audiences. The show forms part of the theatre's programme, offering a discovery of prose poetry through stage performance.
