Overview
A film by Jacques Demy. Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine. Frank Strobel, conductor. Michel Legrand, music.
Colourful dresses, a troupe of travelling performers, a gently romantic plot and, of course, top-class music: the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine accompanies a musical hit.
In Michel Legrand's score, the brass section has a field day, the strings weep for joy and jazz makes Jacques Demy's dialogue swing, giving audiences unforgettable songs. So many Proustian madeleines to rediscover on stage in a cine-concert born under the sign of Gemini.
