Overview
Author: Katia Ghanty Performer: Katia Ghanty Director: Eric BuFrom 12 years old Duration: 1h25A young woman falls ill. Flu, what could be more commonplace. But the illness worsens, and she is rushed to hospital. Her life is at risk, her heart badly weakened: the medical team decides to fit her with an extracorporeal circulation machine. How strange, at 29, to have a heart that gives out...
How does one survive? How does one return to the world? A story of a mountain to climb, fog to cross, of resilience and love. Based on a true story. PRESS REVIEWS: Télérama Sortir Katia Ghanty dances her illness as much as she plays it. And by rising insolently against clichés as well as taboos, she turns it into a kind of magical journey.
Coups d'Œil (L'Œil d'Olivier) A magnificent show.
France Info A show, funny and dense, where emotion is never far away. L'Humanité It is well observed, true, sincere and sensitive.
Froggy's Delight You come out transformed. Power and grace for a devastating story not to be missed. Tatouvu.com Katia Ghanty delivers her story to us, luminous and true. It is light, airy, radiant.
La Provence How beautiful, how right, how realistic. It could be sad, but it is in fact funny and striking (...). A gem.
