For the first time, Nancy Huston, one of the most awarded voices in contemporary literature — Lignes de failles (Prix Fémina 2006), Instruments des ténèbres (Prix Goncourt des lycéens, Prix du Livre Inter)... — performs Les Variations Goldberg herself, her very first novel which has become a seminal work.
One summer evening in Paris, pianist Liliane Kulainn gathers a few close friends at her home to hear her interpretation of J-S Bach's Goldberg Variations. From variation to variation, Liliane lets herself be guided by her memories as much as by what she imagines of her guests' thoughts.

On stage, Nancy Huston, accompanied by Babx alternating with Donia Berriri, embodies the free, charismatic, and multifaceted heroine of her cult debut novel. A unique reinterpretation where theatre and music intertwine to compose the polyphonic portrait of a life.
