— performs Les Variations Goldberg, her very first novel which has become a seminal work. One summer evening in Paris, pianist Liliane Kulainn gathers a few close friends at her home to hear her interpretation of J-S Bach's Goldberg Variations.
From variation to variation, Liliane lets herself be guided by her memories as much as by what she imagines of her guests' thoughts. "Who have I loved? Who has loved me? What remains when everything fades away?
" On stage, Nancy Huston, accompanied by Babx alternating with Donia Berriri, embodies the free, charismatic, and multifaceted heroine of her cult first novel. A unique reinterpretation where theatre and music intertwine to compose the polyphonic portrait of a life.
