Overview
For the first time, Nancy Huston, one of the most decorated voices in contemporary literature - Lignes de failles (Prix Fémina 2006, Instruments des ténèbres (Prix Goncourt des lycéens, prix du Livre Inter)...
- performs Les Variations Goldberg herself, her very first novel, which has become a landmark work. One summer evening in Paris, the pianist Liliane Kulainn gathers a few loved ones at her home to hear her interpretation of J-S Bach's Goldberg Variations.
From variation to variation, Liliane lets herself be guided by her memories as much as by what she imagines her guests are thinking. "Who have I loved? Who has loved me?
" On stage, Nancy Huston, alongside Babx on alternate nights with Donia Berriri, embodies the free, charismatic and multifaceted heroine of her first novel, now a cult classic.
A fresh reinterpretation in which theatre and music intertwine to compose a polyphonic portrait of a life. Reservations for people with reduced mobility on 01 46 06 49 24
