Leslie Lewis Sing Swing

Leslie Lewis presents her Sing Swing project at the Caveau de la Huchette, blending R'n'B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae in a live performance.

Leslie Lewis takes to the stage at the Caveau de la Huchette for a concert built around a repertoire with many influences. The musical proposition moves through R'n'B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae, carried by the artist's voice. The audience discovers a set that showcases these different registers through arrangements shaped for the stage, where vocal energy meets rhythms rooted in African-American and Caribbean music.

On stage, the line-up presents a sequence of songs designed to bring these aesthetics to life in the distinctive acoustics of this underground room in the Latin Quarter. The closeness to the audience encourages direct exchange, characteristic of concerts hosted at this historic club of jazz and contemporary music.

This evening is aimed at lovers of soul, funk and gospel singing looking for a direct, unpretentious live performance. Regulars of the venue and curious passers-by will find a concert space centred on vocal and instrumental performance.
