Big Dez

Big Dez takes over the Parisian stage for an evening devoted to rhythm and blues, soul and funk.

Led by singer and guitarist Phil Fernandez, the band Big Dez draws on the tradition of modern blues tinged with soul, funk and gospel. Since its beginnings, the group has built a strong reputation on the road, touring extensively across France and abroad. The repertoire alternates original compositions with incisive reinterpretations, relying on a punchy horn section and a rhythm section firmly rooted in Afro-American traditions.

On stage, the band delivers a generous energy, built for live performance and direct sharing with the audience. The sets leave ample room for improvisation and instrumental solos, hallmarks of this musical aesthetic.

This date is aimed at lovers of organic music and groove. The Caveau de la Huchette offers direct closeness to the musicians, allowing you to experience the concert in distinctive acoustic and visual conditions, in the heart of the historic vaulted cellars of this club in the Latin Quarter.
