Magic System

Ivorian band Magic System take to the stage at the Arkea Arena to present their zouglou tracks.

Formed in 1996 in Abidjan, Magic System is a major force in Ivorian zouglou. The band achieved international recognition thanks to unifying tracks that blend traditional zouglou rhythms with influences from coupé-décalé, dance, and afropop. Their compositions are characterised by danceable melodies and fast tempos, driven by collective vocal arrangements.

On stage, the band members deliver a dynamic set designed to get the crowd dancing. The instrumental accompaniment integrates percussion and keyboards to capture the energy of their studio-recorded albums. This evening is aimed at fans of world music and West African urban rhythms who want to hear the biggest hits from the band's discography.

The Arkea Arena is hosting the group for a stop on their tour, offering a setup suited to large-scale concerts. The audience has access to a standing pit and tiered seating to attend the performance.
