MaMaMa at Point Ephémère

MaMaMa, aka Elliot Diener, crafts intimate, dreamy pop in which electronics and organic instruments blend with lyrics that are both playful and introspective. After debuting under the name Petit Prince, he became MaMaMa (mamie, meaning grandmother in Alsatian) as a tribute to his roots and to the maternal figures who inspire him. Selected by FIP for Hier sera meilleur in 2024, he returns in autumn 2026 with a pop, organic and psychedelic record that is even more sincere.

Inspired by the boldness of Flavien Berger, the way Feu! Chatterton wields words, and Mount Kimbie's approach to sound and rhythm (the album was finalised with the producer of the British duo), EST stands out for genuine songs in French, composed in his studio in Pantin, after two albums in which production sometimes took up all the space.

Eleven delightful, nostalgic and restorative tracks that show this Strasbourgeois at heart, Parisian by adoption, musician, arranger, singer, composer and producer, who never stops reinventing himself. For this new opus, he draws on local tales and legends, proudly wears the traditional headdress of his forebears and invents a contemporary folklore, dreamlike and ritual, to shed light on his lyrics about intimacy, human relationships and their shadowy sides.
