Overview
Marche forcée is a family show presented at the Theatre du Nord — Ouest, a theatre in Paris's 9th arrondissement. It is aimed at children and their families through play and the presence of the performers on stage.
Marche forcée is a family show, that is to say a form of theatre designed for children, in which the performers' play and the staging occupy the stage. This kind of production allows the youngest audience members to discover the language of the theatre through listening, movement and voices, without any prior knowledge.
The names of Alain Bonneval and Antoine Fritsch are associated with this production, as is the work « J'étais fleur ». The title, Marche forcée, sets the tone for a piece that places the body and rhythm at the centre of the performance.
The show takes place at the Theatre du Nord — Ouest, a theatre located in Paris's 9th arrondissement, where this production for young audiences is staged. The venue hosts theatre performances for a family audience, and each performance brings spectators together around the stage.
