Masha is not a princess like the others… She isn't looking for a Prince Charming and has no need to be saved from the flames at the top of her tower. She is a capricious young girl who thinks only of her wants and desires… Princess of an ice kingdom, she cannot stand the cold, the snow, or the wind… She is determined to put an end to Winter's reign, despite the reluctance of her advisor, Babichka, an old fairy who watches over her. Her path then crosses that of Zlata Ryby, the golden fish, who, caught in a net, asks Masha for help in exchange for three wishes. What better way to make Winter disappear forever? But neither Russia nor the princess will tolerate this change in temperature… and Masha will learn that the cycle of seasons is essential and that nature should not be forced.
