Take Me Out programme
MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS is about to kick off the "Iwaou" THE TOUR, a major tour that will take them across Asia, Australia, North America, Latin America and Europe. The tour promotes the band's first album in four years, Iwaou, whose digital release is scheduled for 14 August. To introduce this new record to audiences around the world, the trio will perform a setlist blending unreleased tracks with fans' favourite songs from across their entire career.
Formed in Kobe, Japan, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS (often shortened to MOTFD) is an explosive alternative rock trio, renowned for its boundless energy and melodic precision. Led by bassist and vocalist Natsuko Miyamoto, the band has carved out a unique place on the post-hardcore and shoegaze scenes.
Their sound is a striking contradiction: explosive, high-voltage instrumentation forming a true "wall of sound", combined with surprisingly pop melodies and ethereal vocals.
