Overview
Matt Maeson returns to the forefront with his new single “Everlasting”, and announces his return to Paris on 7 February 2026 for his “A Quiet And Harmless Living” tour. No matter how fast life flows, Matt Maeson manages to master it and slow it down just enough to sing about it.
A multi-platinum singer, songwriter, and musician, he transforms complex feelings, difficult thoughts, and doubts into catchy alternative songs, rooted in raw, realistic emotion. Over the past few years, Matt has documented life's twists and turns on tape.
In 2019, he struck a chord and made history with his debut album, Bank on the Funeral. The album's two platinum-certified singles – “Cringe” and “Hallucinogenics (feat.
Lana Del Rey)” – both climbed to the top of the Alternative charts, making him “the first male solo artist to achieve two #1 Alternative hits from his debut album”. Following this, “Never Had To Leave” (2022) was highly acclaimed by critics.
He established himself as a rare talent, equally at ease supporting Zach Bryan in arenas as lending his voice alongside Gryffin, Illenium, and Chelsea Cutler.
He also embarked on the sold-out acoustic tour “That's My Cue Tour”, recorded on his 2024 live album, “That's My Cue: A Solo Experience”. Since then, Matt has married, moved from Austin to Nashville, and become a father.
He addresses all these crucial changes aloud in his new single, “Everlasting”. Frustrated and confused, Matt grapples with the idea of leaving everything behind, before taking a deep breath and moving forward: « Take courage and make us proud. Pretend when you don't know how. »
