Memento

After Rave Lucid, which thrust them into the spotlight as an electro company, Brandon Masele and Laura Defretin want to reassert their identity as a company blending their two dance styles, hip-hop and electro.

To make their case, they chose three electro dancers and three hip-hop dancers from China, Russia, Cape Verde, Spain and France.

On stage, they want to confront the genuine meeting of these two vocabularies, across different genders, different bodies, different cultures and backgrounds. Memento is a look at their reality as creatives, of course, but also simply as human beings.

It is a piece with an immersive path into the choreographers' and performers' intimate lives. Their desires are put to the service of their bodies, given form through movement. Like a manifesto, they want to spread their message of hope to the widest possible audience. " LE MONDE.
