A generous and utterly impassioned percussionist, Minino Garay has always drawn from the rich tapestry of Latin American music and rhythms to forge his own unique jazz language. Inheriting the spirit of 1960s New York spoken word, a precursor to slam poetry, Speaking Tango is the art of declaiming the lyrics of popular Argentinian songs rather than singing them. Jazz and tango intertwine with the rhythm of South American folklore, creating something truly unique! For this occasion, he surrounds himself with pianist Cédric Hanriot and double bassist Flavio Romero, and welcomes two guests dear to his heart: bandoneon player Fabrizio Colombo and singer Julian Naranjo. An evening that feels like a street party in Buenos Aires.
