Moby Dick

The Théâtre Silvia Monfort hosts an adaptation of the novel Moby Dick by the company Plexus Polaire, designed for young audiences.

This show is aimed especially at young audiences and immerses spectators in Herman Melville's classic novel. On stage, the company Plexus Polaire develops its work around puppetry and object manipulation to tell the famous pursuit of the white whale by Captain Ahab. The visual and plastic approach makes it possible to convey the maritime elements and the immensity of the ocean without relying on text alone, offering a reading accessible to the youngest while retaining the dramatic density of the original story.

In the auditorium, the audience discovers meticulous work on light, textures and materials, characteristic of the company's artistic approach. Performances take place in the large hall of this Parisian cultural venue, offering listening and viewing conditions suited to this theatrical format. The show serves as a gateway to dramatic writing and contemporary visual forms, helping children become familiar with the stage and the arts of storytelling.
