Overview
Following "Mon Brassens préféré", Julien Sigalas, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Francis Colaud, now turns to the songbook of Francis Cabrel.
Together they have built a show that is poetic, funny and musical, reworking Cabrel's repertoire with inventiveness and playfulness while remaining faithful to his work. Everyone knows "Petite Marie", "Je l'aime à mourir", "La corrida" or "La dame de haute Savoie".
But Cabrel wrote many other songs. There are, of course, a few timeless hits that everyone will be able to hum along to, but also less well-known songs that are every bit as magnificent. You will also find anecdotes about his life, his songs and his career...
Guitars, voice, harmonicas, accordion... Everything needed to step into Cabrel's colourful world and make it your own without betraying it. The interpretation is personal, but the emotion remains universal.
Come and take a seat under the cork oak to (re)discover the byways of this artist whose songs are sublime, deep and poetic. Singer and guitarist Julien Sigalas is also an actor and the author of numerous comedies.
