Overview
The Toulouse quartet, featuring members and former members of Plebeian Grandstand and Bruit =, is a true steamroller.
Mourir delivers a suffocating, crushing Black Metal, inspired as much by the pioneers of the second Norwegian wave as by the dissonant French avant-garde of the 2000s and 2010s.
Everything is black, viscous and dense, like their sound, where torrents of distortion mingle with majestic guitars, swarms of blast-beats and a sludge heaviness that is ever-present.
Recently signed to Pelagic Records (The Ocean, Year of No Light, Bruit =), Mourir will release their new album "Nous, Le Venin" on 10 July 2026, pushing their chilling aggression towards ever more unwholesome, cinematic and singular horizons.
