Overview
Modern jazz — Musina Ebobissé, a distinctive voice in European jazz, presents his new album "Now, Not Yet" with an entirely new quartet, blending lingering melodies and hypnotic rhythms.
Musina Ebobissé has, over the past few years, established himself as a distinctive voice in French and European jazz. He develops a music at the crossroads of modern jazz and contemporary music, where lingering melodies, expressive solos and hypnotic rhythms answer one another. Working with his musicians, he prioritises listening and collective construction, paying particular attention to form and narrative. Music that is taut and expressive, without superfluous effects.
He will present his new album, "Now, Not Yet", alongside an entirely new quartet.
Line-up: Musina Ebobissé: saxophone, effects; Rob Clearfield: Fender Rhodes; Juan Villaroel: electric bass; Gautier Garrigue: drums
