Naïssam Jalal

Landscapes of eternity: is there a more beautiful promise? Naïssam Jalal's concert is an invitation to contemplation. The virtuoso sound of her flute guides us through an initiatory journey in India, combining the intimate and the vast open spaces. Happy is she who, like Naïssam Jalal, has made a fine journey… Alone, travelling through northern India, to explore what connects music, nature and spirituality in the Hindustani tradition, the classical music of that region. Crossing landscapes and sacred places, meeting singers and instrumentalists, she perceives the world around her in a different way. With her transverse flute, she weaves a thread of harmony which, from the depths of her being, widens to embrace her surroundings. Attending a concert by Naïssam Jalal means following her through these landscapes and the emotions they awaken in her. Her voice and her instrument allow us to explore in turn how, "in surrender to the flow of the real, time can welcome eternity".Duration: 1h15
