com/events/1732707711107129 NAMID'A (goth-rock, coldwave / FR) DIGITAL ANGST (coldwave, industrial / FR) Konstroy dj set NAMiD'A (Goth-rock, darkwave / FR) Founded by Jean-Marc Bucher (ex-Kairo / Black Flower Child / Wallenberg) in 2020 during the first lockdown, the band's name is a fusion of language (as in its music) combining Namida, meaning tear in Japanese, and Namid, a feminine first name meaning star, expressing all the melancholy and loneliness of this world.
Joined by Chloé in 2021, NAMiD'A released a first EP, "Beyond the Silence", in 2022, and surprised with the quality and melody of Jean-Marc's guitars and Chloé's bewitching, melancholic voice. In 2022, the band was joined by Dinh on bass.
), the band confirmed its momentum and maturity with the release of its first album, "Out of Sorrow", in 2024.
The dark, ethereal guitar melodies are carried by powerful, catchy riffs close to the lyrical, bathed in shimmering reverb and delicate arpeggios that elevate the vocal harmonies - alternating between grounded, telluric murmurs and passionate, dreamlike surges. The bass lines?
Powerful, unsettling, unforgettable. The perfect fusion of The Cure and Cocteau Twins! A new EP is in preparation, and you will be able to discover these new tracks at this concert.
