Nassi

Nassi, the Franco-Moroccan artist with a distinctive voice, returns to Paris for a series of intimate concerts at La Maroquinerie. Expect an evening rich in emotion, where pop and Oriental influences meet.

Nassi, whose full name is Nassi Ben Salah, has made his mark on the French music scene with an approach that skilfully blends contemporary pop with Oriental sounds inherited from his Moroccan roots. Brought to the wider public in the mid-2010s, he stood out for his ability to write poignant lyrics and catchy melodies. His career, marked by a collaboration with Soprano on the track "Zoum" and compositions for other artists, attests to his talent as a singer-songwriter. He reached a broad audience with songs such as "La Vie est Belle" or "Au Bout de mes Rêves", which illustrate his artistic signature: music that is both popular and carrying universal messages.

His musical style, often described as urban pop with Oriental accents, is characterised by carefully crafted arrangements and an instrumentation that mixes traditional instruments with modern sounds. Nassi is known for his warm, expressive voice, capable of conveying a wide range of emotions, from melancholy to hope. This vocal quality, combined with lyrics that address themes such as love, exile, resilience and the search for meaning, gives his music a depth and authenticity that resonate with his audience. He has created a unique sonic universe, in which varied influences can be heard, ranging from French chanson to raï music, without ever losing his own identity.

On stage, Nassi is renowned for his generosity and his ability to forge a genuine connection with his audience. His concerts are often described as moments of sharing, where emotion is palpable. He brings an infectious energy, alternating between intense moments and more intimate passages, where his voice takes centre stage. On this Paris date, La Maroquinerie, a venue of human scale in the 20th arrondissement, offers an ideal setting to appreciate the subtlety of his repertoire. This closeness to the artist makes for an immersive live experience, in which every note and every word takes on a particular dimension. It is a privileged opportunity to discover or rediscover Nassi's world in optimal conditions, and to be carried away by his sincere and moving music.
