Overview
NO MONEY KIDS is the sound of a nocturnal road trip along a deserted road, where flickering neon signs melt into the rear-view mirror.
Inspired by The Kills, The Black Keys, Beck, Sparklehorse, but also by blues masters such as Junior Kimbrough and Robert Johnson, the Parisian duo blends gritty riffs and electronic beats for indie rock that is as raw as it is beguiling.
Between dizzying ballads and garage anthems, No Money Kids sculpts a raw and addictive sonic universe, where the past and the present collide in a frenzied dance. Their bold sound, recorded in a DIY fashion, draws attention well beyond musical boundaries.
Their track "Take Me to Your Home" and the album "Factory" marked a genuine breakthrough, amassing millions of streams and opening the doors to major festivals such as Rock en Seine and Sziget.
Their compositions have featured in international TV series and films, further boosting their profile. Today, No Money Kids is preparing the album Fireworks, recorded partly in the United States, promising to push the boundaries of their sonic universe.
Who lies behind the Parisian duo No Money Kids, literally "the kids without money"? Meet Felix Kazablanca and Jean-Marc Pelatan.
