Overview

Young audiences from age 4 – Duration: 40 minutes A child goes off to hide in the basement of the family home. Worried and sad, he keeps his distance and offers no explanation.

To help him, his father dives into his own childhood memories and tells him the story of Okilélé, amid objects that come to life. Okilélé is a small character who got in the way wherever he went. But do you think he let himself be pushed around? No.

It is the beginning of a great adventure and a very beautiful journey… By turning Claude Ponti's album Okilélé into a theatre piece, the Collectif Quatre Ailes blends words, images, black theatre, objects and video puppets.

It offers children a show about the difficult question of how to grow up and live when you feel rejected.
