Overview
Placebo 30th Anniversary Tour Playing Songs from Placebo & Without You I’m Nothing
To celebrate 30 years of career, Placebo announces a major tour across Europe and the United Kingdom in 2026! The iconic alternative rock band will perform tracks from their first two albums, "Placebo" and "Without You I’m Nothing", some of which have not been played live for more than 20 years.
Placebo's tour will stop in France.
Second gift: Placebo announces "Placebo RE:CREATED", a reimagining of the record that introduced them to the world in 1996. The album will be released on 19 June 2026 via Elevator Lady Ltd and AWAL.
When Placebo first appeared in 1996, the band's aesthetic and lyrical universe upended expectations within British rock culture. Their deliberately ambiguous, glamorous and provocative visual identity challenged traditional notions of gender and masculinity at a time when such discussions rarely featured in the mainstream. In doing so, Placebo opened a space for another form of alternative voice, which deeply resonated with an audience feeling outside the dominant cultural current, and which is still cited today as a reference by many of their contemporaries.
