The emblematic alternative rock band will perform tracks from their two first albums, "Placebo" and "Without You I'm Nothing", some of which have not been played live for over 20 years.
Second gift: Placebo announces "Placebo RE:CREATED", a re-reading of the album that made them discovered by the world in 1996. The album will be released on 19 June 2026 via Elevator Lady Ltd and AWAL.
When Placebo first appeared in 1996, the group's aesthetics and lyrical universe shook expectations within British rock culture.
Their deliberately ambiguous, glamorous and provocative visual identity opposed traditional ideas of gender and masculinity at a time when these discussions rarely entered mainstream discourse.
In doing so, Placebo opened a space for another form of alternative voice, which deeply resonated with an audience feeling outside the mainstream cultural current, and which is still cited as a reference by many of their contemporaries today.
