Overview
LE THÉÂTRE DE L'ATELIER. Text and direction: Céline Fuhrer and Jean-Luc Vincent
Cast: Céline Fuhrer, Robert Hatisi, Nabila Mekkid, Cédric Moreau, Alexandre Steiger, Jean-Luc Vincent
Running time: 1h30 Following their hilarious foray into the history of feminism with La femme n'existe plus, the dynamic duo of Céline Fuhrer and Jean-Luc Vincent delivers here a masterful exploration – both thrilling and cathartic – of the mechanics of crime fiction. With biting humour and an evident delight in play, they brilliantly deploy every code of the genre to better question the very concept of truth. A breathless comedy, from the backstage of the theatre to the corridors of the courtroom. Young actor Hocine Kadiri, seventeen, has disappeared. The last person seen with him is the successful director Antoine Morceux, soon considered the prime suspect. As the investigation unfolds, full of twists and turns, the masks slip. The arcana and pretences of the small world of culture are laid bare in broad daylight…
