PORTRAIT
Nine dancers with exuberant personalities bring to life a touching and invigorating family portrait under the direction of Mehdi Kerkouche. The choreographer takes the subject of family heritage as his choreographic material. Through the electrified bodies of a tribe of dancers from varied backgrounds, he gives us his version of it. The bonds evolve, and the personalities stand out as the sequences unfold, in isolation, in duets or in group pieces, to the rhythm of Lucie Antunes' organic music.
« A powerful, touching show of great choreographic richness that we won't be ready to forget. » France Info
