Welcome to prosopagnosia, a little-known condition that makes it hard to memorise and recognise faces, even those of people we love. But not recognising faces does not mean not recognising people. A voice, a way of walking, a silhouette, a hairstyle, an item of clothing, a context, a way of moving or of looking at us all become so many paths to identifying the other person. Through a one-man show blending intimate storytelling, humour, popular science and everyday improvised solutions, Yohann Cordelle takes us into his reality: the confusions, the strategies, the misunderstandings, the social vigilance… and all the adaptations he has had to devise in order to keep building connections. Drawing on his own story, but also on encounters with other people affected and conversations with specialists, Prosopagnosie mon amour ultimately raises a far more universal question: How do we recognise one another?

After three initial performances at festivals, the show arrives at a theatre in Paris for the first time.
